Auction for teaching how to clone auctions / Longines. An 18K gold manual wind flyback chronograph wristwatch Ref 5967, 1952
£4,000 - £6,000
The reference number 5967 was a large size for the chronographs of the period which was due in part to the legendary movement calibre Longines CH30. The movement has both the classic column wheel control function and the addition of a flyback feature, allowing for instantaneous return to zero while the chronograph functions. This combination is one of the most desirable chronograph movements produced.
This watch was first invoiced on the 20th September 1952 to the company Bessire who were at that time Longines agent for Belgium.
