All media – cameras, photographers and journalists – that would like to attend an auction either at a Bonhams saleroom,or at an off-site auction, will need to have press accreditation. This can be acquired by emailing [email protected] at least a day in advance of the sale.
Cameras, photographers and journalists are kindly requested to remain at the back of the room. Cameras, in particular, must not walk around the room while filming.
Bonhams does not allow the filming of any member of the public in the room, whether bidding or not, in a way in which they can be identified.Photographs are allowed of Bonhams staff, including the auctioneer and the staff on the telephones. These conditions also apply to images for posting on social media. No flash photography is allowed during the sale.
Press must not approach clients in the saleroom or at any Bonhams auction for interview or comment. If you wish to have an interview with a Bonhams’ member of staff about the auction, please email [email protected]
Copyright for any artwork featured in footage or a photograph that is published after the sale must be checked and obtained by the media outlet.
